Humanitarian Efforts
Under the guidance of Dr. V.K.Mishra Kanpur Urology Centre & B.R.Stone Clinic have been devoutly involved in activities concerning the welfare of the general populace.
The humanitarian efforts involve educating people about urological problems, their treatment and prevention. Regular educational & informative programmes are held to help people avoid these ailments.
Under the patronage of Dr.V.K.Mishra, KUC team regularly organizes urology camps all over Kanpur and nearby districts. Consultation being free, the people who can not afford regular medical care attend the camps in large numbers.
Furthermore the people who require some kind of treatment(therapeutic or surgical) are also treated free of charge in these camps and given medicines related to their ailments.
KUC also regularly distributes material to make people aware about urological problems, their symptoms, treatment and prevention.
It has always been a core fundamental of our institution to provide appropriate urological care to people who need it regardless of their financial ability.
Urological Camps
Kanpur Urology Centre has been organizing regular Urology camps for over a decade now, helping thousands of people in the process.
These camps offer free of charge consultation by top medical practitioners as well as free surgery in many cases.
The major dates when these camps take place every year are:
- September(World Prostrate Month) - 4 camps(weekly)
- Free Operation Camps - Every 2 years
- World Incontinence Day Camp
- World Kidney Day Camp
The camps are held at Kanpur Urology Centre, Mohammadiya Hospital and in other districts nearby Kanpur.
